Helping you make your money go further
A statement from your Sabbatical Officers
"This winter is going to be especially hard for many students as we all struggle to make ends meet during this cost of living crisis.
We, and The Student's Union, recognise that extra support is needed, both financially and with wellbeing as we navigate this period of uncertainty of how to make our money stretch further.
That's why we've created this page, as a one-stop-shop for our students to get advice, support and practical help on how to budget, plus help you get the most out of student life by maximising the support thats availabile for you from the SU's Advice Centre, the university and from Student Finance.
We'll be giving you free resources to help you budget, tips and tricks for keeping your costs down and recipes to help you cook healthy, for less".
The Advice and Representation Centre (ARC)
ARC is based at City Campus at the front entrance of the Student's Union, opposite the library in the Ambika Paul building. They are open from 9am - 4.30pm Mon-Fri and you can visit them in person or call them on 01902 322038. You can also submit an enquiry form and a member of staff will get back to you.
The Advice Centre is separate to the university and offers free and impartial advice for all students for matters including:
- Student Finance
- Accommodation
- Mental Health & Wellbeing
