As your NUS delegate, these are the issues that I stand for:

Accessibility to Education: We must ensure that measures are taken to continue to allow student from poor backgrounds to attend university and study the course of their choice

Anti-Discrimination: Raising Islamophobia is just one example of discrimination we come across on a daily basis. We must all work tirelessly to remove this ill from campuses and society as a whole. 

Supporting diversity: Diversity fits in with anti discrimination. Once we appreciate it and understand one another the discrimination factor will go away 

Global solidarity: The outstanding revolutions across the middle east demonstrate the power of students. They must be supported.

MY EXPERIENCE:

I have been a part of the Islamic Society for over 2 years now, and have come across many of the above issues. I believe that I will be THE voice for students. 

So please help me make a change and vote for me.
