Ensuring Accountability for a Brighter Tomorrow

Keith Brown for FEHW Representative 2024/25

Leadership. Integrity. Equity.

I'm Keith Brown, and I'm standing for FEHW Representative to champion transformative change and inclusivity at our institution.

During my previous term as FABSS Faculty Representative, I established the Employability Society, enhancing job prospects by connecting students with startups in Cambridge. I've advocated for clearer communication across courses, ensuring that all students are well-supported and informed.

My commitment was evident as I attended every meeting and supported challenging motions—even when others didn’t show up. I am dedicated to real, impactful change.

Currently, I am leading the creation of a networking group in partnership with a 10,000-member organisation focused on expanding opportunities in healthcare, biotech, and life sciences.

If re-elected, my goals are clear:

  • Call Out Systemic Racism: I will actively challenge and work to remove systemic barriers within our faculty. By implementing initiatives that promote equity and diversity, I aim to create an environment where all students feel valued and included.
  • Ensure Effective Communication: I will strive for transparency and consistency in all course-related communications, making sure every student has the information they need to succeed.
  • Strengthen Representation: I am committed to enhancing the effectiveness of our council meetings, ensuring they are well-attended and that student voices lead to real change.

Vote for Keith Brown - where commitment meets action.

Together, we can set a standard for inclusivity and excellence, ensuring our faculty not only addresses but champions equity and diversity, making a profound impact both locally and globally.
