Take a paws and unwind! Join us in welcoming Pets as Therapy for a special event bringing three friendly therapy dogs to campus to help you de-stress, recharge, and boost your mood.
Enjoy a 15-minute session with these lovely pups, where you can relax, pet, and connect with them in a calming and supportive environment. Alongside spending time with the dogs, you’ll also have the chance to speak to the volunteers from Pets as Therapy about their experiences, the impact of volunteering, and how you can get involved. You can also learn more about the Students’ Union’s volunteering scheme and explore opportunities to give back in meaningful ways.
Our Advice Centre team will also be on hand throughout the event to provide guidance on looking after your wellbeing, offering tips and support to help you thrive during your time at university, as well as running a free wellbeing lucky dip for all students.
- Date: Tuesday 11th February
- Time: 12.30pm to 2.30pm
- Location: the Den, Ambika Paul Building (MD), City Campus
- Cost: £2 per 15-minute session (All proceeds will go to support Pets as Therapy)
