Punjabi Society

The Punjabi society aims to bring together the Punjabi community and those who want to learn about Punjabi culture. As university can be a difficult place, we are hoping to hold fun and exciting events so that people have the opportunity to make friends with common interests and experiences holding fun games nights, bhangra nights, movie nights, talks about punjab, club nights, mix grills and much much more.

Aims and objectives:

• Bring together the Punjabi community.
• Learn about Punjabi culture and history.
• Have Punjabi representation at the university.
• Connecting with other societies associated with Punjabi culture (within UoW and with other universities in the area).
• Have an approachable community for punjabi students to talk too regarding university stresses
