Wolverhampton Sikh Society is a religious society based at The University of Wolverhampton, City Campus. We receive no funding whatsoever and run completely on donations (Seva). Membership is open to any student at The University of Wolverhampton.
This year (2014-2015) we have established a new committee and aim to organise events for you as students to enjoy and get involved in. We are open to new ideas about what events you would like to see the Sikh Society organise.
This academic year we are aiming to organise a range of new events and activities. As a new committee we believe it is not just learning about Sikhism but also about meeting your local Sikh community and partaking in Seva for the community.
The Activities we plan to arrange this academic year includes:

A variety of social events, including bowling, Ice-skating, Gurdwara tours, etc.

Sporting teams including football and rounders.

Interlink with other Sikh Societies.

Have several events or trips each Semester.

Encourage members to progress both educationally and spiritually.

Provide comprehensive talks about Sikhism, both educational and inspirational.
