Students’ Union Stands in Support and Solidarity Amidst Riots in the UK
As your Students’ Union, we are deeply concerned about the recent events taking place across the country and the impact these will have on the safety and wellbeing of our members. Our Union is built on the core principles of diversity, equality and inclusion. We celebrate our student body, many of whom come from several different cultures and backgrounds, speak different languages, and hold different perspectives.
We are proud to be diverse and believe that every student, regardless of their background, should feel safe, respected, and valued. The recent acts of violence, racism, and discrimination are contrary to these values and have no place in our society or on our campus.
It is our top priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our members. We are here to help. Below are different ways to reach out to the SU, University, or external organisations.
We also encourage you to support one another and foster a community of care and empathy. Together, we can create a strong network of solidarity and resilience.
Wolverhampton Students' Union is here for you. We are committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and empowered. If you have any concerns or need further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.
