Support for Students Affected by the Termination of Bus Service

We understand that many of you may have been left with questions upon returning to campus without an inter-campus bus service. You can read our statement on the cancellation of this service here.

Since the summer, your Sabbatical Officers have been in continued contact and discussion with the University about this matter and have been highlighting the impact that the lack of this service has been having on students. Your feedback is invaluable in this and allows us to present different perspectives. If you have not yet filled out our feedback form, you can do so by clicking here. Please feel free to share this form with any of your peers who might have also been affected.

Recently, your Officers were informed by the University that students who are now facing hardship or barriers to engage with their studies as a result of the cancellation of the bus service can contact money@wlv.ac.uk for support. This team will work through cases on an individual basis to assess what support you may be eligible for and will provide appropriate solutions. We encourage you to reach out to money@wlv.ac.uk if you have been impacted.

We understand that this situation continues to bring stress and frustration to students. Therefore, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Advice centre should you require support. You can contact them by:
